Acton

Acidic Soils

Acton is a unique liquid soil conditioner formulated using a proprietary process of activating natural calcium minerals for conditioning the soil pH from acidic to neutral range which ultimately resulting in enhanced uptake of nutrients by plant roots when applied through fertigation (drip) or as a soil drench near the root zone.

Benefits

Effective replacement to traditional bulky lime application.

Easier to apply-spray over the soil surface or apply through drip irrigation.

Enhances crop quality.

Reason for Acidic Soil

Repeated fertilizer application in field soils result in soil acidification and when the soil pH needs to be corrected soil conditioners are required to raise the pH.

Acton soil conditioner for Acidic soils is rapid in increasing the root zone soil pH in comparison with traditional methods.

Acton final

FEATURES

Concentrated Liquid Soil Conditioner.

Easy to store and apply than traditional soil conditioners.

Efficiently mitigate acid soils.

Dosage:10 Litres/Ha

Shelf life: Two years

MODE OF ACTION

Soil acidity is defined as the quantum of hydrogen ion (H+) content of the soil.

To neutralize this acid condition, the activated calcium carbonates contained in the product act directly upon the H+ ions making it swiftly than traditional soil amendments to combine with carbon dioxide (CO2) to form water.

Calcium place an important role not only in plant productivity but also in soil pH correction from acid to neutral range.

Short Duration Crops (Less than 150 days per crop life cycle):

First Application: 10 Litres/ha at the time of field preparation.

Repeat Application: 1 to 2 Litres/ha per month, drench per drip in the root zone.

Long Duration Crops (Perennials):

First Application: 10 Litres/ha at the time of field preparation.

Repeat Application: 1 to 2 Litres/ha per month for a minimum of 24 months, drench per drip in the root zone.

Caution: Acton should not be applied along with any other Agri Chemicals. Acton is a high pH product not compatible with other Agri Chemicals.

Alkon

Alkaline Soils

Alkon is a unique liquid soil conditioner formulated using a proprietary process of activating natural calcium minerals for conditioning the soil pH resulting in enhanced uptake of nutrients by plant roots when applied through fertigation (drip) or as a soil drench near the root zone.

BENEFITS

Effective replacement to traditional bulky gypsum application.

Easy to apply – spray over the soil surface or apply through drip irrigation.

Faster acting on the soil. Helpful even for conditioning light, sandy soils.

MODE OF ACTION

Calcium is generally used to replace sodium in alkali soil. The activated calcium sulphate in Alkon is used as a reclaiming agent, calcium replaces the exchangeable sodium and converts the clay back into calcium-clay. Sodium sulphate formed is leachable by washing it out with water. pH is lowered and physical condition of soil improves.

FEATURES

Concentrated Liquid Soil Conditioner.

Easier to store and apply than traditional soil conditioners.

Efficiently mitigate high sodium and magnesium in root zone.

Dosage: 10 Litres/Ha

Shelf life: Two years

Alkaline soils are difficult for agricultural production.

Due to the low infiltration capacity, rainwater stagnates on the soil easily and, in dry periods, cultivation is hardly possible without copious irrigated water and good drainage. The availability of many plant nutrients in soils, including iron, zinc, copper, and manganese, is reduced at high pH values. Iron chlorosis in plants, caused by inadequate iron, is a common problem in alkaline soils. Phosphate, a macronutrient, may also be limited in these high pH soils due to its precipitation in the soil solution.

Short Duration Crops (Less than 150 days per crop life cycle):

Repeat Application : 1 to 2 Litres/ha per month, drench per drip in the root zone.

Long Duration Crops (Perennials):

First Application : 10 Litres/ha at the time of field preparation.

Repeat Application : 1 to 2 Litres/ha per month for minimum of 24 months, drench per drip in the root zone.

Alkon is a low pH product not compatible with other Agri Chemicals.
